Question by ReNeE: style problems in the suburbs?

i go to a mostly white, preppy school, and im white too. but ive always liked clothes from baby phat and rocawear and places like that…(what people say are “black clothes”) more than the preppy clothes like hollister and abercrombie. how can i find a way to incorporate that into my style, and not have everyone think im a poser?
I wear some Abercrombie stuff now cuz I wanted to fit in..which i know is stupid, and im tired of it.
I also like some Forever 21 stuff…is that preppy?

Okay, so I am into the whole ” urban ” look if I should call it that. Like the gold eyeshadow, lots of eyeliner, big eyelashes, jewelry, sweatpants, etc. I really like the style of Baby Phat, Ed Hardy, Adidas, and other brands similar to those. But they are VERY expensive. Does anyone know where I can find cheaper clothes, that have the same look as these ??
and also, I have blonde / light brown hair, and im very pale. Does this style look good on me?
